A.I.R Gallery x VCG
Strategic Partnership - Consumer Experiences
-
A.I.R. Gallery is a historic non-profit, artist-run gallery space in New York dedicated to supporting underrepresented artistic voices and pioneering innovative creative mediums. Acting as the technology and experience studio, Vision Creative Group (VCG) produced the activation to launch the ACRYLICS platform and reframe nail sculpture into a recognized fine-art medium.
-
ACRYLICS: Hidden Sculptural Art was a month-long immersive gallery exhibition and book launch developed for A.I.R. Gallery in New York City.
The initiative was created to provide a public benefit experience aligning with A.I.R. mission to elevate women and non-binary artists.
This exhibition positioned nail art as a fine art discipline, honing in on the individual stories and talents of the featured artists for micro and macro community engagement. -
Operational Shifts & Consequential Headwinds
The project navigated labor changes during execution, resulting in strict budget constraints and resource re-allocation. These operational hurdles meant the rapid pivot of marketing priorities and the GTM strategy to maintain launch quality without compromising the partnership goal and audience experience.
-
To navigate budget and labor constraints, the team selectively curated 11 featured artists and launched an exclusive Friends & Family private showing alongside targeted programming for gallery loyalists, content creators, and cultural influencers across art, fashion, and beauty.
The 360-degree showcase integrated sculptural wall displays, and the pre-release of an authoritative 300-page art history book. -
Strategic tactics drove over 800,000 in digital and social reach throughout the exhibition run.
The activation earned feature press placements across premier art, fashion, and culture publications including Highsnobiety, Hypebae, Hyperallergic, and Scratch Magazine, establishing authority in the global nail, beauty sectors, and scalable brand equity for the ACRYLICS platform. -
As Senior Strategist – Consumer Experience, I applied consumer research and marketing intelligence to craft an end-to-end launch and exhibition lifecycle promotions plan to navigate resource constraints, elevate cultural relevance, and establish fine-art validation across every touchpoint of the viewer journey.
